Refund Policy

1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We are confident you'll love HackTheKnowledge courses. If for any reason you're not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided you meet the eligibility criteria in section 2 below (including the 20% consumption threshold).
2. Eligibility for Refund
You are eligible for a refund if all of the following apply:
- Your refund request is submitted within 14 days of the initial purchase
- Your lesson progress percentage for the purchased course is below 20%. We calculate this as: (number of published lessons you have completed ÷ total published lessons in that course) × 100, rounded to the nearest whole percent — as shown in your student dashboard (e.g. Account area / course progress).
- You have not completed the HTK certificate path for that course: i.e. you have not yet completed all published lessons and all required labs for the course. Once you are eligible for the HTK certificate for that course, the purchase is not refundable under this policy.
Not eligible: If your lesson progress is 20% or higher, or you have completed the certificate path (all lessons and labs), or your request is outside the 14-day window, a standard refund will not apply (see section 6 for exceptions and bundle cases).
3. How to Request a Refund
Primary method: Sign in → My Account → Orders. Each paid order shows your order ID, the automated eligibility checks (14-day window, lesson %, certificate path), and a Request refund button. Submitting creates a ticket for our team with a snapshot of those figures at the time of your request.
Alternative: Email support@hacktheknowledge.com with your registered email, order ID, and course name.
We will review your request within 2-3 business days and, if approved, process the refund to your original payment method via Stripe.
4. Processing Time
Once approved, refunds are processed immediately via Stripe. However, the time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider, typically 5-10 business days.
5. Bundle Purchases
If you've purchased a Complete Learning Path (Bundle), the 20% threshold applies per course included in the bundle. We may offer a partial refund for courses that remain below 20% progress and eligible under section 2; contact us to discuss your specific situation.
6. Exceptions
Refunds may be declined or adjusted if:
- Your refund request is submitted more than 14 days after purchase
- Your lesson progress is 20% or more, or you have completed the HTK certificate path for the course
- The purchase was made with fraudulent or unauthorized payment methods
- You have already received multiple refunds from your account
7. Account Access After Refund
Upon successful refund, your access to the course will be revoked. You will no longer be able to view course materials, launch labs, or submit exams.
